SARA MEAD
Sara Mead started painting seriously in 1999 largely as a result of encouragement and support of the renowned Scottish watercolourist Tom Shanks. Mixed media harbour scenes represent some of favourite work, stemming from a childhood love for the coast, often depicted in a quirky and lively manner.
She has exhibited throughout Scotland including at the Paisley Art Institute, Pittenweem Arts Festival and Ayrshire Art Exhibition. Sara Mead has had successful solo shows at Pollock House and The House for an Art Lover and exhibits regularly at many of Scotlands best galleries. |
